AIB DBSC Boat Naming Ceremony

Last Thursday, 29th August, was a busy evening for DBSC. Not only was it the last Thursday of the 2024 sailing season but DBSC also held a boat naming ceremony for its newest member of its fleet – Corinthian.

DBSC was delighted that Colin and Nuala Hunt were able to be at the event which was held at the National Yacht Club before the final race of the AIB DBSC racing season began. This vessel replaces MacLir. Lady Commodore Dara Totterdell blessed ‘Corinthian’ and all the crew that will sail in her.

Many supporters, along with committee members, flag officers and former commodores, race management personnel attended the ceremony. And the sun shone!
