SAILING INSTRUCTIONS A GENERAL – ALL FLEETS
To be used for the AIB DBSC 2025 Summer Series
Please see amendment to General Sailing Instructions ‘A’ 2024 Amended 17.05.24 below:
11.1 A boat entered in a DBSC series shall not cross the start or finish line of any race in which she is not racing. The Race Committee may penalize a boat without a hearing for failing to comply with this Sailing Instruction by adding 3 points to her series score. (This changes RRS 63.1 and A5.1)
Is now amended to read:
11.1 [DP] A boat entered in a DBSC series shall not cross the start or finish line of any race in which she is not racing. The Race Committee may penalize a boat without a hearing for failing to comply with this Sailing Instruction by scoring her DSQ in the race or races she has sailed that day. (This changes RRS SAILING INSTRUCTIONS B – RED, BLUE FLEET COMMITTEE BOAT STARTS THURSDAYS AND SATURDAYS
Amended 20.04.24 to include Clause 1.3
1.3 If there is an individual recall the RO may shorten or adjust the line while such a boat or boats return to start correctly. This changes RRS27.2
