DBSC RECOMMENDS THAT A PFD BE WORN BY EACH PERSON ON BOARD WHILE RACING
Race Schedule for 2026
Tuesday: Races will be scheduled on Tuesday evenings from 28 April to 25 August. There will be
at most two races each day, with the first warning signal at 19:00. Races will be divided into three
series, by date.
Saturday: Races will be scheduled on selected Saturday afternoons. There will be at most three
races each day, with the first warning signal at 14:00. Races will be divided into two series:
Series A (6 days): 25 April, 2 May, 9 May, 16 May, 30 May, 20 June.
Series B (5 days): 8 August, 15 August, 22 August, 19 September, 26 September.
Tips and advice on completing the online entry form
Most entries submitted online are successful with only a small percentage of online transactions failing to complete. Our payment platform is Stripe. Stripe carries out the requisite checks on all cards. Stripe will reject:
- Incomplete or incorrect numbers entered including CVV numbers
- Debit/credit cards not in date
- Allows for the bank verification process where applicable.
Any card issues are not the fault of DBSC, so please check with your bank or simply try again – sometimes WIFI can even be the issue!
Insurance
We wish to draw your attention to a recommendation from Irish Sailing in regard to Insurance and racing at an event or regatta away from your home club. Your home waters is Dublin Bay. See more details here

Entries received after 20.00hrs on 18th April will be charged a Late Entry Fee as follows:
- Dinghy Fleet €25
We encourage our Members to enter as soon as possible as this enables us to plan our racing schedule and fleets more effectively. Members who enter on time give us the opportunity to communicate to our Members in advance concerning the 2026 sailing season.
Please include all crew details on your form.
- Don’t forget you can add extra crew members, over and above the allotted crew number, for an additional €20 on the entry form. This will ensure all your crew panel will receive updates and amendments by email
